Lord dadhibamana jew ( Shree Jagannatha), as His very name signifies, is the Lord of the Universe (Jagat = Universe; Natha = Lord). He is also popularly known as Mahaprabhu (Maha = Great; Prabhu = Lord). The sacred scriptures of Sanatana Vaidika Dharma (popularly known as Hinduism) also refer to Him as Purushottama, The Supreme Divine Being (Purusha = Divine Being; Uttama = Supreme). The philosophy and tradition of Lord Shree Jagannatha emphatically propound the fundamental principles of Hinduism: Ekam Sat Viprah Bahudha Vadanti (There is only one TRUTH, the Learned Ones speak about the same TRUTH in various ways) and Vasudhaiva kutumbakam (Entire humanity is the family of the One God)
In the year 1973, 7 friends ( Niranjan Nanda, Kamala kanta Das, Suresh Mishra, Chakradhara Das, Manoranjan Nanda, Susant Das, Ananta Sahoo) started a journey of Sri Sri Jagannath’s puja and chariot festival which has involved this small village in “Soro”, Baleswar, Odisha with a religious atmosphere ever since. By the grace of Mahaprabhu Sri Dadhibaman Jew and the entire area is creating a beautiful and harmonious atmosphere.This temple was established about 50 years ago, after which it has registered as a trust on 3rd November 2023 after receiving from Mr. Shiv Charan Das a portion of his paternal estate by Donation.
Every year, by the grace of Mahaprabhu, the temple trust arranged to celebrate festivals like (Janmastami, Kartika Purnima, Dolo Purnima, Barshika Utshava, Ratha yatra, Sunabesha) with holy cooperation from the villagers and bhaktas. As the 1st Secretary of temple trust Mr Rashmi Ranjan Mishra is always leading a major roles with all trustees and blessing of Mahaprabhu towards the smooth compilation of management of temple and festivals.
All Seva Pujas are being performed as best as possible in the temple, starting from the Mangal Aalati in the morning to the sandhya Aalati and Bhagavat reading in the evening.
This temple and our Lord are a burning symbol of the glory, honour and unity of our village.
